We have seen lots and loads of keyboard related accessories coming out for iPad. Some have been good, some have been pretty bad but none couldn’t match up to what’s The Brydge is going to offer. Launched on Kickstarter, as you can see its money raising campaign have been more than successful. Easy to carry and it does display those Apple’esque accessory style. Perhaps its time to do a followup on this post. The project was funded almost 9 times over the original ask and now the developers have a real mess on their hands with very outspoken critics of their drastic change in the design of the hinge and very obvious lack of communication on their part with their backer community.
They also continue to take preorders on their commercial website for the product without a word on the design change.

Really @David, never heard about the changes, if that’s the actually happening, it saddens me, i was really looking forward for the brydge like all the people funding the project. Let me contact the owners and see what is that they are doing
I was looking at this on kick starter the other day. I wasn’t aware of the design changes though! Kickstarter always seems so secure and I guess that remains true for the fund raising portion. Adding additional features is one thing but to change something as drastic as the original product you were promoting is another. A shame that so many Kickstarter project starters don’t know or have the ability to scale, regardless of funds.
