Desert Zombie: Last Stand is the new upcoming iPad game which will be based on all awesome Unreal Engine. Being a zombie game fan myself this does looks amazing to me alright, but we have to wait to get our hands on it. This still sporting a “coming soon” tag.
Finally Gameloft embraces Unreal Engine and announces what they came up with :
We have already seen what Unreal gaming engine is capable of, with few more apps in the pipeline. Castlerama is one of them which shows you again what Unreal Engine can do to a app in making it visually stunning. With Castlerama app you can experience the 3D world, move around through a beautiful, detailed and accurately lit 3D setting. And no its not a game(atleast for now) .
We have seen this happening before with the Infinity Blade when a similar app showing the UI goodness was released before the game, so is Castlerama a clue on good things to come on the similar setup. Only time will tell but for now do download the app and enjoy the ever growing graphics level on iOS gaming.
Castlerama app is free and you can download it from iTunes Store Link.
Dream : Scape as toucharcade says is the upcoming game on iPad which will based on the all amazing Unreal Engine, which assures that the game will be a visual treat(See Infinity Blade). Details about the story behind the app :
The player takes on the persona of a coma patient unlocking his past by exploring the dreamscape of his memories. As the player explores the huge open world, memories are unlocked. These are represented by cut-scenes, featuring audible dialog, and diary entries, which the player reads in-game via a 3-D representation of a leather-bound book. The player must determine which areas to explore so as to find and unlock the story.
Preview video of the game :
Now we wait
, will share as more detail comes out.

N.O.V.A is one of most coveted gaming app series for iPad in market right now and it will be getting a shot in arm with unreal engine (as per the rumours that is). NOVA was never low on visual graphics but with Unreal Engine it can become another monster. We have already seen the unreal Engine in action with Infinity Blade, so imagine if we get that with NOVA, it would be a blast beyond doubt. Pocketgamer reports :
Gameloft has confirmed what we already knew down here in the Rumour Mine – it’s busy working on four games utilising Epic Games’s Unreal Engine 3. But the Paris-based publisher hasn’t revealed what those games are.
Word has it that shooter sequel N.O.V.A. 3 is among the four titles built around the engine and will be out later this year.
