Finally after months of leaks, news and discussion the NewsCorp’s daily newspaper for iPad aka “The Daily” iPad is here. The app will have exclusive content created for itself everyday and the topics will range from : breaking news, sports, pop culture, entertainment, apps, games, technology, opinion, celebrity gossip. So yes, there is something for everyone.
Then there are lots of other features like HD videos, interactive charts, 360 degree photos to have fun with. In all almost everything you want in a iPad App.
The app will run on the subscription model which costs about $0.99 for 2 weeks and for whole years its priced at $39.99, which is well acceptable till they keep bringing great content to the readers. Currently its for sale for 2 weeks so that you can try it out and see if it’s worth your money. I like it so far, but we have to wait and watch it how it performs in future, the content is the king here. The app can be downloaded from iTunes Store Link.
So, guys its finally confirmed, Newscorp has started sending out invites for the event which will be taking place on Feb 2. So, few more days to see what came out of this Apple and Newscorp collaboration.
Finally some progress on the The Daily Newspaper iPad App, the placeholder for the app is live. Will look forward to this, want to see what Newscorp is so excited about.
Newscorp have a upcoming daily newspaper iPad app alright and that sounds fine, the thing which interests me that every time I have heard/read rumours about this app, everyone claims it to be very beautifully designed, which indeed is a must for any publication app coming to iPad. If they have done this right, half of the battle is won, what remains is now the price for subscription and the actual content generation(this shouldn’t be the hard part for them since they are a News conglomerate).
