Few months back I saw the trailer (embedded below) of Reckless Racing(earlier Deliverace) and it seemed like a pretty good game to play. But after that there were no updates shared or released and the app never made it to the app store. But now toucharcade is reporting the game in indeed up for release on iPad and iPhone, due to the involvement from EA Mobile.
Few Details about the Reckless Racing Game :
Roaring engines, squealing tires and amazing graphics. Reckless Racing mixes old-school top-down racing game play with state of the art graphics and engaging multiplayer features. Perfectly balanced controls let players skid, slip and slide through the most beautiful tracks ever seen on a handheld device – leaving nothing but mud-splattered opponents and skid marks behind. Reckless Racing features a fully stocked internet multiplayer mode, on-line leaderboards and the ability to trade ghost races with other players from all over the world.
Game Trailers :
Seems like fun, will update as soon as hits up the app store.

Save Teddy is the perfect app for kids and adults who are looking for some simple time killing games. The game concept is easy to understand, you have to save the falling teddy which is tied to a balloon. And you can do that by moving some other balloons around, so that the teddy bounces on them and falls safely into the basket.
I tried it the app and liked it, it was easy to handle and you don’t have to be on toes while playing other iPad Games . But it is indeed best for your kids, they will love playing it.
Save Teddy App costs $1.99 and you can buy it from iTunes App Store Link.
Accepted that Dungeon Hunter has been out for quite a while and probably was in the first batch of iPad games to be released along with iPad launch, but that doesn’t mean I can’t review it . I bought Dungeon Hunter last week but didn’t get much time to play around with it. Hence decided to gave it a try this weekend and let me tell you its addictive. If you ever played a RPG game on PC, PSP then this is the app for you. Gameplay is brilliant, graphics are optimal for a app and everything works good.
Story is quite epic as well, so you have to take your fighter through land of Gothicus ” a dark place, with evil all around” and fight a evil queen, whom you used to love once . Well isn’t that story something, it may seems cheesy but thats about it all. There is no more cheesiness in the gameplay, its your old style sword hack n slash.
Features from the app description :
AN EPIC 3D QUEST
- Discover the enormous world of Gothicus and complete different types of quests and missions: Explore, kill, protect, find special items and more.
- Find your way through huge dungeons with the new mini-map – only for the iPad version! You can also expand the map for a larger view if needed.
IN THE TRADITION OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ACTION RPGs
- Create your own character: Choose your class from a stealthy Rogue to a blade wielding Warrior or a powerful and mysterious Mage.
- Tons of items, weapons and armor to find or buy. Each will change the look and abilities of your character.
A GREAT GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE
- Hack ‘n’ slash gameplay for real-time fights, providing a heavy dose of fun for everybody.
- iPad-optimized experience: Change the location of buttons on the screen to create a custom interface that best fits your style.
ADVENTURE AT ITS BEST
- Progress and evolve along your adventure. Gain experience points by killing enemies or succeeding in certain quests. Choose how to distribute your points according to the skills you want to focus on.
- 5 fairies, each with their own personality, will help you by providing protection, magical powers and advice.
A trailer of the game to give more peak in the app :
In the end would like to say, its a thoroughly enjoyable app. I have seen people saying that graphics aren’t actually HD , but that’s just personal opinion, people need to understand, iPad apps comes with a limitation hardware + software. And you have to see that iPad game makers are doing some amazing work with those limitations.
The Dungeon Hunter HD app costs $6.99 and you can buy it from iTunes Store.
PS : Here is direct link of all iPad Games I have been covering.
Paper Toss was one of the gaming app which I thoroughly enjoyed on iPhone. Eventually it made it through to iPad as HD app courtesy Backflip Studios. Just to give little info on the app for those who didn’t use it on iPhone, in Paper toss you have to throw a crumbled paper into trash. Simple enough right and that’s make it so addictive, once you start playing it, hours will pass by and you wouldn’t even notice.
This is a perfect app to play lying on a couch, no complex controls, no demons to kill. Just get you angle right and get that paper ball into the trash can. The app offers many locations and difficulty levels. Just to make a quick point, in the app you do get abused by your co-workers when you are tossing the ball around, and its hilarious.
Features of the App from official description :
-7 levels of varied difficulty
-Innovative flick control
-Global online scoreboard
-Real office sounds
-Varying wind speed from fan impacts paper flight
-Verbal abuse from angry co-workers
This is a must have app and seriously don’t give it a miss. The app cost $2.99 and you can buy it from iTunes Store Link.
