Another iPad 3 retina display details leaked, Macrumours got hold off 9.7 inch display which might be part of upcoming iPad upgrade. Sporting a 2048 x 1536 resolution you should be treated with some amazing visuals for sure, considering it really makes to iPad 3. Now only concern as duly noted by everyone, to support that screen and maintain the current battery life of iPad, it would need some decent efforts from Apple.

Apple is now more willing to adopt IC solutions from Taiwan-based IC design houses as it is adjusting the cost structure for iPad tablets in order to compete with an array of tablet PCs to be launched by rivals in the second half of 2011, commented the sources.

Bloomberg reports about the iPad 3 we all have been waiting for :
“Apple is also testing a new version of the iPad that has a higher resolution screen, similar to the one now used in the iPhone 4,” the Bloomberg report cited sources as saying. The resolution of the next-generation iPad would be about “one-third higher” than the iPad 2′s display and will feature a more responsive touchscreen, people said.
Various reports have suggested the iPad could see a display upgrade that would double the tablet’s linear resolution to 2048 x 1536. Last week, double-resolution iPad images in the iOS 5 beta sparked renewed speculation that Apple is planning the improved display.
Probably not going to happen, but since we are iPad blog we have to cover almost every juicy rumour out there. Someone some where believes that iPad 3 will get 3D LCD screen.
The fact that the iPad 3 is 3D is a dead cert,” one Hollywood insider close to the big movie studios told RCR, adding that the screen would be the real magic. She went on to say that the big film studios were currently running around like blue arsed flies trying to gear up to release plenty of 3D content in time for Apple’s next launch.
I just want a retina display on iPad 3 and better camera’s and upgraded processor if possible, thank you.
Right now we don’t have much clue on the iPad 2(if you disregard the rumours) and every second day we see a major publication jumping on the whole iPad 2 “my sources told me this about iPad 2” bandwagon. But it seems like even that wasn’t enough, now we have iPad 3 rumours cropping up every where, saying it will be released in fall to fight the various tablets in market. I fondly remember people saying the same thing about iPad 2 that it will come near Christmas, which never happened.
