Finally some action on the app store, its been going quite there since we saw a major action game being released after NOVA 2. But things are changing, EA has brought their PS3/XBOX 360 offering to the iPad in form of Dead Space. Just a bit of overview, Dead Space is one of the most popular 3PS surviving horror game out there and if you own a PS3(I have one so lets keep this priority than Xbox 360 ), you probably would have played one. (Just a FYI, Dead Space 2 is out and you can check out the review at IGN).

Now Dead Space has arrived on the app store and let me tell you its easily one of the best action games out there in the app world of iPad. In terms of graphics and visuals on par with NOVA,Infinity Blade or Rage. Story is all around you surviving the Necromorph hordes in the Mines of Titan, gameplay is basically lots of guns and lots of evil aliens to kill which hides in the dark corners of your ship. Yes perfect setting for a great shooting game.

I am still playing the game and although the experience is expectedly different from PS3 but really you cant compare those 2 anyways. Let me put it this way, if you are a action game fan, just go ahead and buy the app, there won’t be any disappointment watsoever. And with a game based on the Dead Space franchise, its totally worth it. Dead Space costs a cool $9.99 and is available on iTunes Store Link. And with Dead Space EA is offering lots and lots of in app purchases, so one more thing to check out once you buy the app.
