If above logs from arstechnica are to be believed then they might have confirmed the upcoming iPad 3 retina display along with new iOS update aka iOS 6. They even tracked down the ip’s and they are coming from Apple corporate Id’s(Cupertino). So Apple employees are field testing the new tablet. Exciting times 
Next week we might see a lower priced 8GB iPad 2 being launched along with the new iPad 3. Says Digitimes :
In addition to iPad 3, Apple is also expected to unveil an 8GB iPad 2, allowing the tablet PC series to cover different segments and to defend against Windows 8-based tablet PCs, the sources noted.
Make sense, absolutely, there are so many consumers looking for a day to day tablet without pinching their pocket too much, so this surely should be a good deal. And in markets like in India, it will be a bestseller.
As iPad 3 release comes closer, major retailers wants to be free of the old iPad 2 and make way for the new kid on the block. Best Buy is one of them and nowadays you will find them giving some discounts on the iPad prices. Also in the above pic you can see that they tagging iPad 2′s with “deleting” status, which only means the release is near-er.
If rumours are to be believed, the above picture you seeing is probably of the iPad 3 shipment en-route to US for the upcoming launch in March. Well about time .
Says the recently leaked logic board snapshot which is claimed to be from upcoming iPad 3. As you can see the below image sports a A5X chip and the quad core processor is to be coming with A6 naming conventions.
This is why I am not much of a fan of rumour mill when the release get closer but well.
