Here are some of the news/rumours/bits about iPad you might have missed :
1. iPad is becoming enterprise users GO-TO tablet, if recent adoption of the tablet is to be believed.
2. iPad 3 will get a retina display says LG.
3. iPad tablet market share dropped from about 95% last year to something 65% this year. This does show the fact, that Android tablets are indeed eating into the iPad market.
4. Omnivision has revealed a 5 megapixel slim camera sensor which might be used with iPad 3(which it desperately needs).
6. iPad 2 Jailbreak for the latest build will be coming in few weeks.

Apple released new update for iOS devices aka iOS 4.3.4 which fixes some security issues, mainly the one PDF exploit which made the iPad Jailbreak possible through Jailbreakme. If you have a jailbroken iPad, then you might want to stay away from the update until a jailbreak solution is available for iOS 4.3.4 as well. For others, its update time

Assistive Touch feature is the new offering coming as part of iOS 5 release where you can perform functions on iPad screen which we are usually doing with buttons on iPad :
One of the unannounced features in the upcoming iOS 5, a new music iPad App. No idea what the update will bring to table but it will be a improvement from current one nonetheless. May be some iCloud features get embedded into it or may a change over the whole UI.
Apple just introduced a pretty nifty feature as part of iOS 5 and its called iMessage. With this feature iOS devices users will be able to talk with each other over Wifi or 3G. When a users receives a message, a notification will pop up. Looks pretty good.
