It took a decent time to hit app store after being announced back in Feb 01, but finally its here. Livestand is the new magazine app from Yahoo which lets you consume all content that Yahoo has to offer in style. The app is all equipped with great visual elements, graphics and videos from everywhere(breaking headlines, celebrity news, sports).
Must have for all who are reading Yahoo’s offering from a long time, others can also try it out, its worth it. Livestand app is free and you can grab it from iTunes Store Link.
First let me tell you if you are a Harry Potter fan then this is a must have app for you. There isn’t or hardly will be a Harry Potter app which can be compared to Harry Potter Film Wizardry. The app brings all the Harry Potter style magic to your iPad in an interactive manner which every HP fan will appreciate.
Starting with the neat looking cover you will find unpublished photos from all the potter films. Trivia and maps and animations which along with being magical provide you enough info to please you as a fan. And not to forget, videos clips from movies, star cast bio’s and fun stuff.

This one goes for all warplanes, combat fighters fans (me included). Warplanes: A History Of Aerial Combat is the latest app from Gameloft offering a detailed info on 43 historic warplanes. App is all equipped with detailed 3D representation, HD photographs, videos showing planes in action. In short everything you want to have in a app collecting these marvellous flying machines.

This one goes for all X-Men series fans and if you are fan(like me ), you probably know that X Men First Class is due next week. To keep the momentum going, FOX Mobile Entertainment has come out with their X-Men EXTRA magazine app for iPad. It gives you news updates on all the X Men stuff, so that as a fan you doesn’t miss out on anything. Great app, looks pretty good as well, serves its purpose beautifully.

We all know Al Gore’s fight against global warming and that fight is coming to iPad now with the Al Gore’s Our Choice book app. One of the best interactive book you/me might have come across. Loaded with an hour of documentary video, high-res images and ofcourse all the detailed articles to show the state of our planet and what we can do to help.
